Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in Sana'a on Sunday Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Nazim Akren.
President Saleh emphasized the necessity to create efficient mechanism to carry out the signed agreements between both countries in a way that enhances mutual cooperation relations, asserting the commitment of Yemen to strengthening relations with Turkey in the different fields.

During the meeting, Akren handed over to the president a letter from his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gull and Premier Recap Tayyip Endogen concerning bilateral relations.

The meeting also dealt with regional and international issues of common issues.

Turkish Deputy Premier Nazim Akren is visiting Yemen currently to take part in the 5th Yemeni-Turkish Joint Committee meeting being held in Sana'a.
