The Turkish senior official said they realise well the Yemen position and the privileges from which the Turkish businessmen will benefit, whether at the regional or international levels, announcing that a council for the two countries' businessmen will be chosen.

He said the visit of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to turkey had laid the solid foundations for development of the two countries' cooperation and confirmed that number of joint exhibitions will be organised.

O his part the Yemen Minister of Industry and Trade Dr Yahya al-Mutawakil said the roots and depth of the Yemeni and Turkish relations are strong and expressed his admiration of the accomplishments that turkey made in the latest period despite the crisis it had suffered from in the nineties.


On the other hand the chairman of the Yemeni chamber of commerce and industry Hassan al-Kaboos praised the intention of yen and turkey for signing an agreement for the establishment of a council for businessmen in Yemen and turkey that would have a positive impact I service of businessmen in both countries and their joint dealings.

Al-Kaboos also confirmed depth of the economic relations between the two countries through exchange of trade and industrial relegations. He has also confirmed depth of the political, cultural, social and religious, considering the present meeting as one of successive meetings in which businessmen from both countries meet to learn closely about available investments and opportunities commercial dealings and relations.

Al-Kaboos called on Yemeni businessmen to seize the opportunity to hold consultations and discussion businessmen of the Turkish delegation and to create channels for commercial, industrial and investment transactions.
