Almotamar Net - A delegation representing the General Peoples Congress (GPC) ruling party in Yemen, led by Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Sultan al-Barakani on Thursday left Sanaa for the Syrian capital Damascus. The delegation is to hold talks on ways of cooperation between the GPC and the Arab Baath Socialist ruling party in Syria in interest and for serving interest of the two countries and peoples. The talks are also intended to serve organisational and political and ideological relations and strengthen tracks of Arab solidarity. The delegation is to hold talks on ways of cooperation between the GPC and the Arab Ba'ath Socialist ruling party in Syria in interest and for serving interest of the two countries and peoples. The talks are also intended to serve organisational and political and ideological relations and strengthen tracks of Arab solidarity.

It is scheduled that GPC delegation to sign with the Syrian Ba'ath the renewal of the protocol of cooperation between the two ruling parties in the two countries. The delegation includes a number of the GPC specialised offices at the General Secretariat of the party.
