almotamar.net - The massive demonstrations took to the streets of Sana’a Sunday and in which hundreds of thousands of the Yemenis in solidarity with the Palestinian brethren in Gaza Strip condemned the savage aggression and war of annihilation against the Palestinian people in Gaza perpetrated by the Zionist entity military machine and the massacres it has inflicted on the people causing the death or wounding of hundreds from women, children and elderly people.


The about one million angry masses marched the streets of the capital Sana’a and gathered in the Muraisi International Stadium where they held the solidarity festival. The solidarity demonstrations were organized by the General people’s Congress ruling party, the People’s Organisation for the support of the Palestinian people, political parties and organisations, civil society organisations, religious scholars and social and cultural personalities.


The demonstrations lifted slogans condemning the brutal massacres and the Zionist war crimes y chanted slogans demanding the Arab leaders to live to the event and not to suffice to denunciation and condemnation that have not been avail for more than 60 years. They demanded them to take deterrent practical stands and the speedy action to help the Palestinian people. The demonstrators praised the call of President Ali Abdullah Saleh for holding an emergency Arab summit to consider the outrageous crimes, demanding all Arab countries to urgent interaction with the call the way enabling all Arab leaders to take united stands to deter the Zionist terror.


Assistant Secretary General for Information Sector at the General People’s Congress GPC Dr Ahmed Ubaid Bin Daghr addressed the solidarity rally expressing condemnation of the GPC of the Zionist enemy committing in the Gaza Strip, saying the GPC and the republic of Yemen expresses the condemnation people and their denunciation of these massacres and crimes of war Israel has perpetrated against the defenceless Palestinian people in Gaza Strip. He also valued stands and efforts of President Ali Abdullah Saleh supporting and backing the Palestinian issue and his adoption of it at all Arab and international forums.
