almotamar.net - An official information source at the General People’s Congress GPC demanded the Yemen Socialist Party YSP to present an executive mechanism about what the party has submitted in its political and information address on what it calls settling sequels of the 1994 summer war or as it aid of implementing a full package of political, constitutional and economic reforms in addition to carrying out n integrated national project for building the state of law and order and enhancement of the democratic pursuit through carrying out serious electoral reforms or the establishment of national participation in the power and fighting corruption as well as directing the economic policies towards serving the vital interests of the people.


The source said if those were the proposals that would end state of tension and confusion in stances by the YSP and its allies of parties of the joint meeting the GPC is ready to study and discuss those submissions. The source confirmed that partnership in power comes through respect of the people’s will and what the ballot boxes single out. He pointed out the importance that the YSP leadership should present its vision and the executive mechanism to translate it on the ground to the government and the General Secretariat of the GPC.


In other context an official source at the Information Office of the GPC welcomed the call of Dr Mohammed Abdulmalik al-Mutawakil on what he the democracy of accord. The source said,” We at the GPC welcome this call and we look forward that al-Mutawakil would take the initiative in consulting with his comrades in the Joint Meeting Parties and to present an executive mechanism to translate the call into reality, “affirming readiness of the GPC to consider that mechanism and it would not hesitate to adopt any positive opinion for the realization of the public interest.
