almotamar.net - The General People’s Congress GPC leading member Mohammed Bin Naji al-Shaef has on Friday revealed presidential directives issued a few days ago for transferring the Yemeni Jewish citizens from the districts of Raida and Kharif in the governorate of Amran to the capital of Sana’a. The decision came in precaution of harassment they might be exposed to especially after increase of threats they received in the past days and reached the killing of one of them on 11 of last December.


The leading GPC member Sheikh al-Shaef told almotamar.net that the operation of transferring the Jewish citizens will begin on Saturday or next Sunday. He pointed out the completion of arrangements for providing residence in residential buildings in preparation for building houses especially for them in the capital Sana’a


The government has previously transferred he members of the Jewish community from the district of Razih in the governorate of Saada to the capital Sana’a after their coming under harassments during the rebellion of the Houthis there.
