almotamar.net - Yemeni security sources said some Somali pirates have on Saturday kidnapped a Yemeni mercantile cargo ship carrying a shipment of fuel from the city of Aden to Mukalla.


The sources clarified to almotamar.net that the ship owned by Al-Aysie Navigation Group was kidnapped by Somali pirates near the area of Jabal al-Kalb alongside of Bir Ali coasts.


The sources pointed out that the ship was carrying 2000 tons of diesel from the city of Aden to Mukalla port, the governorate of Hadramout.
