almotamar.net - In a press conference held in Aden Sunday at the conclusion of its 4-day conference the League of Yemen Sons Party announced the election of Abdulrqhman al-Jifri chairman of the party and the election of 93 members for the central body in which the woman was represented by 20% s the party elected 19 woman leading members.

Thee elected Chairman of the party al-Jifri said in the press conference that the priority of alliance of his party is heading towards the General People’s Congress GPC but not with any price and not a sole choice if we can achieve something for “our homeland and our party.” He added that does not mean that the party has no cooperation with other parties.


The closing statement of the party’s 9th general conference held on 14-17 of January 2009 called on all national political forces to head for positive national dialogue away from wrangling and tensing the situations so that to avoid the country pains of seditions , hatred and divisions.
