In a statement to 26september.net Saturday he clarified that the Joint Meeting parties JMP want to go into alliance with extremist forces of the al-Qaeda, advocates of secession and rebels through what they term conference of national consultation in order to impede the parliamentary elections.

Mr Ghanim added the consultative conference planned for by the JMP is only for creation of a new political alliance groups , beside the parties of the JMP, the remaining of al-Houthi insurgents in Sada and those promoting for the culture of hatred and secession in the southern and eastern governorates in addition to representatives of the extremist and terrorist currents which the Islah party has lately adopted through highlighting anti-democracy views of those forces in the Annas and Al-Thawri newspapers.

Ghanim confirms this alliance has no goal other than foiling the democratic process and the elections with undemocratic methods violating the constitution and the law , he said that would be far from reach because the Yemeni people are able to protect their electoral rights and democratic gains.

We feel this new alliance the JMP are trying to establish would harm not just the political democratic process but to reach to some parties of the JMP.

On the dialogue with the JMP for entering the elections he said the JMP did not take a final decision concerning the participation or boycotting and the GPC works for encouraging them to participate, confirming the participation of the JMP does not give legitimacy to the elections because the legitimacy is that the people choose those representing them in the legislative power.
