Almotamar.net - Coordination and Follow-up Committee in the Official Media Institutions on Saturday welcomed latest statements by the Yemen Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar as regards to media job description in which he confirmed intention of the cabinet to discuss and approve the job description in its next meeting.

In a press statement on Saturday the Committee valued the Prime Minister�s interest in issues of journalists, the matter that is in line with interests of the President of the Republic Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning staffs o the media institutions in Yemen. The President interest and care are felt in his continuous and clear directives to approve the media job description.

The Committee expressed its hope that the concerned authorities would translate statements of the Premier on the ground as that is considered the sound step for giving the media men and writers all their job and professional rights in the way in harmony with their status and role in serving the society and issues of the homeland.

The Prime Minister on Friday announced his government intention to discuss the topic of journalist job description next week saying,� The government would discuss next week the subject of the journalist job description that had been discussed by the Yemen Journalists Syndicate with the Ministry of Civil Service under directives by me. �Dr Mujawar added that he instructed the Civil Service ministry to present to the cabinet a complete project to be approved in the cabinet next meeting.
