almotamar.net - Security authorities in Taiz governorate on Saturday seized 1400 hashish saplings planted inside a courtyard of a citizen from the district of Sharab al-Salam.

Security Director of Taiz Yahya al-Haisami said in an exclusive statement to almotamar.net the seized quantity was 1400 transplants the said citizen and his son were planting inside the courtyard of their house. He pointed out that the security administration received a report from the district�s administration and in cooperation of citizens. Security troops from drugs section were sent there and arrested the man and his son and retained the quantity.

The accused persons were sent to the criminal investigation for investigation.

Security authorities in Yemen managed last year to capture large quantities of drugs and hashish in many areas of the country.
