Almotamar.net - Vice President, the Secretary General of the General people�s Congress GPC Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi affirmed, during his meeting on Wednesday with visiting US National Democratic Institute for the Middle East Department NDI Leslie Campbell, that the democratic pursuit in Yemen is still at the stage of development. He has also stressed the necessity of the NDI, the European Union and all organisations and bodies concerned with field so that this pursuit can overcome hindrances and difficulties and to cross to the better future.

Hadi reviewed with Campbell a number of issues and topics concerning democratic approach and preparations for holding the upcoming parliamentary elections on April 27 according to legal and constitutional appointment.

For his part, Campbell expressed his complete understanding and appreciation saying �we have expressed several times on our satisfaction with Yemen's steps towards democracy,". He the emerging democracy in Yemen represents an example to be followed. He indicated continuous support for making these goals successful.
