Almotamar.net - Security sources in Taiz governorate confirmed Monday the arrest of a number of persons accused of attacking owners and people frequenting tourist resorts situated on sides of Sabr Mount a week age.

A security source ascribed the incident that led to the injury of many tourist sites owners and many citizens, to the wrong mobilization and destructive ideas of some extremist groups involved in the incident. He considered targeting the defenceless persons; most of them accompanying heir families and owners of licensed places come under terrorist acts aimed at damaging tourist activity in Yemen.

In his statement to almotamar.net the source promised that all anyone thinks of targeting public places and disturbing public peace will be deterred. He added that the tourist resorts practice their activities under monitoring of the concerned authorities and offer services to visitors from the governorate and from outside of it.
