Almotamar Net - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansour Hadi and deputy chair of the General People’s Congress GPC said on Tuesday that the GPC and the Joint Meeting Parties JMP have agreed on running the elections together and doing political and economic reforms to serve higher national interests.

Almotamar.net, Saba - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansour Hadi and deputy chair of the General People’s Congress GPC said on Tuesday that the GPC and the Joint Meeting Parties JMP have agreed on running the elections together and doing political and economic reforms to serve higher national interests.

During his meeting with visiting European parliament delegation, Hadi said that the democracy in Yemen needs further support from the EU and American National Democratic Institute (NDI) and other concerned bodies. The GPC’s Secretary General also affirmed that for Yemen, democracy represents the logical and realistic solution for many problems and difficulties at various social, political, cultural and economic levels.

The Vice President also highlighted the roles of the EU and the NDI for their support for the democracy in the country, renewing the pledge that the higher interest of the homeland would be superior to all other interests.
