Almotamar.net - A security source told almotamar.net Thursday that security authorities have arrested three persons, among them one accused of being affiliate of al-Qaeda in Yemen. The capture came in a storming operation of a house in the capital Sana’a carried out by anti-terror forces in the mid of this week.

The source revealed to almotamar.net that the captured person is assistant of Ahmed Naji al-Barbari who had previously managed to escape from capture during a storming operation of a house in the capital on 19 last January. The operation had then resulted in the killing of two terrorists, one of them a Saudi national called Salem Mohammed Maqsaf and the third was arrested.

The security source added that security forces stormed a house in Sana’a at dawn of last Monday after getting information on the hiding of one of the wanted elements over his relation with one of al-Qaeda cells in Yemen. Al-Qaeda has increased it activities in last few months.

The source aid an exchange of fire occurred during the storming operation between security soldiers and the three persons, among whom was the main wanted person. The other two are his relatives and gave him a hiding in their house in Sana’a. The wanted person was injured in the fire exchange and four of security soldiers have received different injuries.
