Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh left Thursday Moscow for Tajikistan capital Dushanbe on an official visit in response to an invitation by the Tajik President Ali Rahmanov, winding up a three-day visit to Russia upon invitation by the Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev.

President Saleh was seen off by a personal representative of the Russian president and Russian Foreign Minister as well as other top Russian officials.
During his visit to Russia, President Saleh held talks with his Russian counterpart Medvedev, the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and a number of Russian officials. His talks focused on relations of cooperation in different fields in addition to developments of the situations in the region, particularly the peace process and situations in Palestine.
During his stay in Tajikistan, President Saleh is to discuss with Tajikistan officials means of enhancing cooperation between Yemen and Tajikistan, and other issues of common interest.
