Almotamar.net - Yemen’s ambassador to India Mustafa al-Nouman said Friday that President Ali Abdullah Saleh asked him to see that care is rendered for Mr Faisal Bin Shamlan the former candidate for presidential elections.

Al-Nouman added that the President is all the time contacting and following up the health condition of Bin Shamlan wishing him speedy recovery. He pointed out that Bin Shamlan asked the ambassador to convey his much thanking to the President and his gratitude for inquiring, follow-up and care.

The ambassador also affirmed that Bin Shamlan has returned to Aden on Friday afternoon for rest and that he would return to continue his treatment at the end of next April.

President Saleh has earlier issued his directives that the Presidency would bear all costs of stages of Bin Shamlan treatment.
