By:almotamar.net - Aref al-Zowka, governor of Marib, affirmed Marib governorate is keen to hold fair, free elections, amid peaceful and stabilized atmospheres.

During a meeting with the European Observation Election Commission in al-Jawf and Marib governorates, al-Zowka affirmed his leadership is ready to make easy the works of election committees.
"Our country witnesses a democratic experience evidenced in the elections scheduled on 20 September," he noted.
The European Commission praised the democratic course in Yemen, affirming it would participate in observing the presidential and local elections in Marib and al-Jawf governorates.
