Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in Sana’a on Wednesday General Commander of the Italian Coast Guard, visiting Yemen currently.

The meeting discussed the first stage of the marine radars network project lunched on Wednesday, in addition to the arrangements for the second stage of the project that includes providing a number of boats and helicopters for the coastguard authority.

The meeting highlighted the desire of some Italian companies' to invest in Yemen.

President Saleh hailed the high level of cooperation between the two friendly countries and the Italian support to Yemen in areas of coastguard and combating terrorism.

Regarding the Italian companies, Saleh renewed welcomes to them, affirming that they would get all facilities.
