Almotamar.net,Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid on Tuesday an inspection visit to units of the military and security forces stationed in Sufian military camp.

In his speech to the military personnel, Saleh expressed his high appreciation for what he touched of soldiers' patriotism spirit and their great performance in the fight to protect the country, revolution, republic, unity, freedom and democracy.

He emphasized that "our military forces are able to confront and defeat al-Houthi rebels who broke the law and announced their rebellion against the country."

President thanked all military personnel in each of Sufian, Sa'ada and al-Malahidh camps for the magnificent combating performance in their confrontation to protect the law and win for the nations' will against supporters of Imamate rule and ignorance.

He noted that if "this war, carried out by rebellion elements, could be ended in its first moments if it were based on a regular war."

Saleh expressed sorrow for the hard situations in Sufian district and other districts of Sa'ada because of those Houthi outlaw elements and their rejection of peace and the six conditions set by the government for them to solve the situation, warning against continuing commitment to the same misguided attitude.

President noted that it is not possible for an agent who asked for commission and sold himself to outsiders to be a president as it is not possible for a chaos caller to be a peace supporter.

He pointed out that Yemen is in its best situations and will ever continue to achieve all aspirations and hopes of a decent life coupled with progress as a result of efforts of all loyalists of the Yemeni people.
