Almotamar.net - A security source has on Thursday confirmed to almotanmar.net that army and security forces found six weapons stocks belonging to al-Houthi rebels in the area of Harf Sufian and Saada province, north of Yemen.
According to the source finding the weapons stocks came after the army and security forces were able to control the Harf Sufian area in Amran province and pockets of the Houthi rebellion in al-Mahahir and Malahidh area and other areas in Saada province where the elements of rebellion were controlling them.
The same source confirmed to almotamar.net that the discovered weapons include light machine-guns; projectiles and short-range rockets, some of them are Iranian made.
Some of the Houthi rebels under prosecution have earlier confessed of using Iranian made weapons in confronting the state. During trials others have revealed of imitating films on the Iranian revolution in conducting the acts of destruction and attacking army and security attacks they carried out in Bani Hushaish area.
In the same context the source clarified to almotamar.net that after losing their strongholds the rebels escaped to the far outskirts of Saada province but the ground forces there are carrying out mopping up operations in chasing the fleeing elements , affirming that they arrested a number of them.
