Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office at the General People's Congress, the ruling party in Yemen GPC has on Saturday expressed his astonishment of statements made by the official spokesman for the Joint Meeting Parties JMP opposition bloc containing prevarications and falsification of the facts on the sedition in Saada started by the terrorist elements.

The GPC leading member Tareq al-Shamy expressed his regret for some persons sympathizing with those laments inside parties of the JMP , especially the official spokesman for those parties in taking advantage of their positions in the leadership of the JMP and made stances of those parties in favour of those terrorist elements violating the constitution and the law at the time it was supposed that these parties should be at a high degree of reason and national responsibility to stand by the Yemeni armed forces and security and institutions of the constitutional legitimacy in confronting the criminal elements of terror and rebellion that practice acts of killing , destruction and destabilizing public peace.

Al-Shamy added that what is more astonishing is that the JMP spokesman talks of an initiative proposed by the JMP and wondered about what kind of initiative except if it was meant of stopping in chasing those insurgent destructive elements so that t provide them with an opportunity to revive their capacity though they were given so many a chance and many mediation committees were set up , some members of which were from the JMP, for convincing those rebellious elements to respond to the voice of reason and return to the right path and resort to peace. He pointed out that those elements continued in committing their crimes against the citizens and the homeland and impeding efforts for construction and development.

Al-Shamy said at present and under the tightening of the grip on those elements those sympathizers with them began raising their voices of which "we are used to whenever the elements of destruction face difficult situation leading to their end."

He said the advice that those could present is to invest their good relations with the elements of destruction and rebellion and convince them to abide by the constitution and law and order and to stop their criminal sabotage acts, resort to peace and commit to the submitted six points for prevention of bloodshed and realization of peace.
