Almotamar.net - The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador artist Mohmoud Kabil has expressed his resentment over dealing by some media outlet with his statements, criticizing what he described as misinterpretation of his statements on the conditions of the migrant children in Al-Mazreq Camp in Haja province, Yemen, considering those media through that perverting as have tried to drive a wedge between the humanitarian organisations of the United Nations and the Yemeni authorities.

Up [on his leaving Sana'a on Wednesday Kabil said there was no way for who wants to outbid and drive wedge between the UN humanitarian organisations and the Yemeni authorities that are "cooperating with us with all of their efforts and this is published on internet websites."

Saba news agency has quoted Kabil as saying, "Maybe some of the media outlets have taken advantage of my statements for political aims but what concerns us is the humanitarian situation and the condition of the children in this camp."

He asked those outbidding ones to leave them fulfill the humanitarian work and the work they have come for , i.e. taking care of Yemen children especially the displaced children in north Yemen.

He said he did not go to Saada but visited Al-Mazreq camp in Haja province as a goodwill ambassador on a humanitarian mission in coordination with the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and the local authorities in the province. Ambassador Kabil expressed his satisfaction over efforts of the Yemeni government and cooperation with the organisation, saying they were the best cooperators with them. He added that he had seen directly the efforts the government is offering to the children in the Al-Mazreq camp despite the existence of a case of dehydration of one of the children whom the government immediately took to hospital for treatment in ambulance car.
