Almotamar.net - Reliable sources have revealed to Almotamar.net that confirmations by aviation experts and results of examining the black box of the Yemenia Airways Company airliner that crashed in the Comoros islands on 30 of last June and was carrying 153 passengers, confirm that the Yemenia Airbus 300-310 was hit with a French missile and caused the killing of all of its passengers except a girl aged 14 years who was the only survivor in the incident.
The sources emphasized that according to the results of investigations, the Yemeni government would demand the French government for compensation for the airliner and families of the victims who were killed in the incident in addition to the losses inflicted on the Yemenia Airways Company.
Media outlets had after quoted statements by officials in the Comoro Islands included accusations to the French vessels present in the Comoros regional waters of downing the Yemeni airplane due to the plane passing at the time when the French vessels were carrying out unannounced maneuvers in the area. A Comoros official was then quoted as saying that the French vessels were present in the site of the incident just one day before the crash of the plane. He said he did not rule out that the Yemeni plane was hit with a missile from one of the French vessels and that caused its immediate crash.
He added, "We do not rule out the happening of this. It is not a criminal act but the plane was present at a time it was not allowed to be there, "accusing the French navy presence in the site of the incident was purposefully to keep away non-French rescue and relief teams from the incident site.
