Almotamar Net - An official security source in Yemen said security apparatuses have on Wednesday air raided a hideout of terrorist elements in Al Shabwan area in Mareb province led by terrorist Ayedh al-Shabwani, a leading member in al-Qaeda organisation in Yemen.

Almotamar.net - An official security source in Yemen said security apparatuses have on Wednesday air raided a hideout of terrorist elements in Al Shabwan area in Mareb province led by terrorist Ayedh al-Shabwani, a leading member in al-Qaeda organisation in Yemen.

In a statement, the source made it clear that these elements continued committing many of terrorist acts, among them repeated attacks on high tension power pylons of the gas power station in Mareb. He added those acts cause power outages in addition to their attacking engineers while repairing the damage inflicted on those power pylons.

In addition to those criminal acts the gang has blasted the oil pipeline in Sarwah area , attacking armed forces and security men , blocking roads and robbing passengers and their cars , attacking foreign tourists and standing behind many of crimes of killing and sabotage .

The source pointed out that those elements used the farm of terrorist Ayedh al-Shabwani a hideout for planning and carrying out their terrorist acts and a centre for grouping terrorist elements from al-Qaeda organisation.

The source pointed to dealing an air strike to the hideout of terrorist al-Shabwani and his terrorist gang but investigations were still going on about results of that strike.
