Almotamar.net - Head of the visiting European Union (EU) delegation has affirmed Tuesday the EU keenness on developing and expanding relations of cooperation with Yemen in different aspects including security and combating terror and piracy area.

During his meting in Sana�a today with Deputy Interior Minister General Saleh Hussein al-Zawaari the European official expressed the EU readiness to support Yemeni security authorities in both technical and training fields in the manner that would develop their capabilities of confronting current security challenges, especially combating terror and piracy.

The European official also praised Yemen�s efforts in fighting terror and the organized crime in general.

For his part al-Zawaari praised the EU support for Yemen in all fields and backing the efforts for enhancing capabilities of Yemeni security apparatuses.

The meeting earlier discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation in security and combating terror fields , particularly the Yemeni-EU cooperation in general and the Yemeni �French in particular and ways of enhancing and developing it.
