Almotamar.net - An official source at the General People’s Congress (GPC) ruling party in Yemen has on Wednesday warned leaderships of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) from going too far in instigation of division tendencies and regionalism fanaticisms as well as going too far in practicing chaos , calls for violence and playing with fire . That came over the JMP calls for staging protest activities including acts of violence and aggression on public property in Al-Baidha province on Wednesday.

At the time he called on members and supporters of the GPC and not to be dragged behind plans of chaos which the JMP began marketing them, the source expressed his resentment of the JMP call on its members all over the country to practice violence and violation of the law of which it described as the call for sits-in tomorrow Thursday, of which its members began in Al-Baidha province on Wednesday by demolition of public property , destabilizing peace and violation of rules of the political work and partisan practice.

The source warned what he described as advocates of the sedition and instigators of
Sabotaging the national accomplishments and tearing down of the fabric as a result of creating division among the sons of he one homeland and what result from practices like burning trade shops , killing innocent people , blocking roads and attacking public and private property and robbing people in the street.

The source said, “We in the GPC view that JMP, with its practices, calls for open violation of the rules of practicing the political work and freedoms and it calls for chaos and that would undoubtedly lead to complications and negative results and we hope that the leadership of the JMP should nit think that the simple would pay the price of that. He added that the false slogans of the sit-ins on enhancement of the unity and citizenship, the people know well they are the opposite.

The source called on law-enforcing apparatuses, and the general prosecution to take their legal measures according to the law against those calling for sedition and those fomenting it, particularly the higher leadership of the JMP. He said no one in the homeland accepts from the leadership of the JMP continue in its calls for detriment to security, stability, public peace and impingement on the national unity and destinies of the homeland and its accomplishments. He called on the JMP to stop their tampering and that the people are no longer standing them and the mentioned practices.

He said “we in the GPC repeat the calls to those to return to reason and not to play with fire and we warn tem that they would be burnt by it.”

He said the GPC and with it all the honest national forces believe in the political practice according to the law and regulations and believe in the practice of freedoms without chaos or violation.

The source also affirmed the GPC’s respect of the right of the opposition to the political practice according to the law and constitution and rejects acts of violence , aggression , destruction , blocking roads and killing the innocent as well as harming the homeland unity and instigating of regional and separatist fanaticism and all sorts of acts violating the laws.
