Almotamar.net - The technical committee on the project of the international electoral support at the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum in Yemen has completed Saturday discussion and approval of the amended document of the international support project in the field of electoral awareness, institutional building, qualification and training, enhancement of the civil society participation in supporting the electoral process and woman empowerment in the political and social life.

In its meting today the SCER listened to the remarks presented by the ministries of endowments and education, the Woman National Committee on the main premises for the sustainable national awareness in he electoral area through inclusion of democratic and electoral concepts in school curricula as well as through mosque preachers in addition to encouragement of the woman for the active participation as elector and candidate in various electoral process.

In the meeting, the member of the SCER Alawi al-Mashour valued the all forms of technical, financial and consultancy support presented to the SCER by donor countries and organisations through the project of the international electoral support through the UNDP.
