Almotamar.net - An official security source in Yemen said Monday that monitoring and follow-up of al-Qaeda terrorist elements resulted in dealing an air strike at 10 pm Sunday evening to a number of those elements while they were present in the area of Jeezat Ahl Qatan of Modia district, Abyan province.

The source said the air strike resulted in killing two of the leading elements in the organisation that were planning to implement terrorist operations against vital installations.

The source went on to say that the security authorities would continue chasing the terrorist elements and those violating the law and order and would not allow anyone to threaten the homeland�s security and stability.
