Almotamar.net - The French embassy in Sana’a, Yemen said Wednesday that the French government decided allocation of 200.000 euro for the annual budget for 2010 of the UNHCR in Yemen in the way of French voluntary contribution.

A statement of the embassy, Almotamar.net obtained a copy of it, mentioned that the aid is aimed at supporting activities of the UNHCR in favour of the displaced due to Saada and Sufyan rebellion sedition on the one hand and supporting the programmes allocated to the refugees in the context of migration Yemen is suffering from due to its continuation.

This new funding affirms France’s commitment to the UNHCR in contribution to improving the human situation of the local displaced persons and the refugees to Yemen. France views it is a must to continue international mobilizing for it.
