Almotamar.net, Saba - The Technical Committee of Ministerial Executive Office for Priorities approved on Wednesday a vision, proposed by a global consulting firm, to implement the second priority related to employing Yemeni labor in the GCC markets.

The committee's move comes after reviewing the notes presented by the private sector and Ministries and relative agencies in preparation for referring to the executive office for discussion and approval.

The vision proposed by the consulting firm included a number of activities and stages for implementing the priority including signing memorandums of understanding with the GCC countries to employ Yemeni trained and qualified labor according to their needs.

The vision, which evaluated the employment opportunities in the GCC countries, aimed to providing about 6.3 million jobs for Yemenis in the GCC countries by 2020 to enable Yemen to address the unemployment and bring it to below 10 percent.

The vision pointing out that there a great demand for employing large numbers of workers, especially in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar.
