Almotamar.net - A security source has told Almotamar.net that security forces arrested on Thursday one of al-Qaeda elements in Luder district, Abyan province.

The source added that the terrorist that was arrested is Salah Ali Abdullah al-Dammani and considered one of the dangerous elements active among al-Qaeda ranks in Abyan.

The source also said that Interior Undersecretary and the Governor of Abyan are present in Luder district to supervise the process of clearing the area from the pockets of terror and restoring safety to its inhabitants.

Meanwhile, security forces continue the operation of chasing and combing the remainder of al-Qaeda organisation elements that escaped from Luder district after the strong strikes dealt to them in the past days.
