Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh along with top officials performed on Friday Eid al-Fitr prayer in al-Saleh Mosque at the capital of Sana'a.

In the Eid prayer's sermon, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affaires cleric Hussein al-Haddar talked about the greatness of this Islamic occasion that comes after ending fasting in Holy month of Ramadan, noting that this month is a month of morality.

He called upon spreading peace, love, mercy and cooperation among the community's members, prompting Moslems to have sympathy with the poor and orphans in addition to paying visits to their relatives, especially in such occasions.

He also talked about the sabotage and tourist acts in some governorates, saying that such acts do not belong to the Islamic teachings, which forbid killing, terrifying people, road robbery and disobeying rulers' orders.

Al-Haddar ended his sermon by talking about the significance of unity of the country.
