Almotamar.net - Yemen Defence Minister General Mohammed Ahmed Nasser has affirmed Tuesday that the state would act on establishing security and stability, public peace and protection of the national constants and gains of the Yemeni unity.

In the meeting he chaired at headquarters of Lahj province governor, which included security and military units commanders, the Defence Minister discussed with them many of security and development issues.

The Minister pointed out that security and military units in the province would be reinforced with personnel and military ammunition to enable them perform their duties in a perfect way.

Meanwhile, the Defence Minister called on the sons of Lahj province to cooperate with security and military forces so that to capture terrorist and sabotage elements and highway men that destabilize public peace in the province and to send them justice for their crimes.

For his part the Secretary General of the local council in the province Ali Haydara Matar expressed his appreciation for the care and attention rendered by the political leadership, represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, to the province of Lahj, confirming the stand of the local authority of the province by the security and military forces against those that try to threaten gains of the Yemeni unity.
