Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended in Sana'a on Sunday a plenary meeting with security and armed forces commanders.


In the meeting, President Saleh congratulated the leaders and personnel of the military and security corporations on the 48th anniversary of 26 September revolution, the 47th anniversary of 14 October revolution and the 43rd anniversary of Independence Day, 30 November.

Since then, great changes have occurred in areas of security, military, education, culture, economy, agriculture, oil and sustainable development, Saleh said.

"Besides to the comprehensive educational and economic revolutions we are working on, we consider the revolution against corruption is as the most significant one. So, let's start from this grand national corporation", he said.

The president prompted the military corporation to remedy their situations and to be a good model for other constitutional, executive and judicial establishments.

"We absolutely refused to politicize the military and security corporations", the president said, accenting that they also will always the safety-valve of the revolution, unification and constitution.

The President made reference to the Yemen's friends group ministerial meeting held in New York last Friday, saying that all Yemen's friends support Yemen's unity, security and stabilization.

"Such international consensus has never been made for any country but Yemen" Saleh said.

They have propped up the government's efforts in development and counter-terrorism, he added.
