Almotamar.net, Saba - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has called on brotherly and friendly countries, international donor bodies and organizations and Yemen partners in counterterrorism to fulfill their commitments and provide the required support for Yemen in order to be capable of reinforcing its efforts to realize the sustainable development and the social, economic and political stability.

This came in Yemen speech delivered by al-Qirbi in front of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.

In his speech, al-Qirbi indicated that government spending on imposing the law, counterterrorism and over 700 thousand refugees curbed its abilities to support development, alleviate poverty and improve the living standards of people.

He also reviewed the various developments in the Yemeni arena and challenges facing development process and efforts of the political leadership and the Yemeni government to overcome them.
