Almotamar.net, Saba - Yemen and the World Bank (WB) are to sign on Wednesday an agreement under which the Bank provides a grant of USD 70 million dedicated to support the deficit in the general budget of the State.

The sessions of bilateral talks between Yemen and the Bank will start on Tuesday to complete arrangements relating to the signing of the grant agreement in order to sign the agreement on Wednesday.

In the talks, the government side will be headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation for programming projects, Abdullah al-Shater, and for the WB the Country Director of the Bank in Sana'a Benson Ateng.

This agreement comes within the framework of the program of private sector growth and social protection development.
