Almotamar.net, Saba - Yemen and the U.S. discussed here on Thursday topics relating to the developmental, economic and security aspects.

This came during a meeting gathered Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Rashad al-Alimi and the U.S. ambassador to Yemen Gerald M. Feierstein.

The two sides touched upon the ongoing arrangements for Yemen Friends' meeting to be held in the first quarter of 2011 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as well as the preparations for lifting the ban of air freight from Yemen to the U.S.

At the meeting, al-Alimi praised the American support, stressing the need to boost the cooperation between the two countries in various areas so as to serve the joint interests, especially with regard to the developments plans in Yemen.
