On Saturday, members of the NDC Presidency convened for a meeting chaired by Presidency member, conference Vice President and Southern Movement representative Yaseen Makkawi.

Various matters connected with conference progress were discussed, with a particular focus on southern Yemeni issues.

The Presidency members decided to continue consulting with conference representatives of political components in connection with the southern issues, the drafting of Yemen’s new constitution and the remaining tasks before the NDC's working groups and committees.

All present also agreed that all tasks before the NDC Consensus Committee’s members must be completed in a timely manner.

A further point of agreement was that all working groups should be provided with any resources which could serve to improve their respective resolutions and outcomes
