almotamar.net - The Supreme Security Committee discussed in its meeting on Saturday a number of issues and the current security tasks, considering the necessary measures to stabilize the security situation in the capital Sana’a and other provinces.

Given the results that have been achieved due to preventing the movement of motorcycles in the capital during the period from December 1 to 15, 2013 , and in response to the demands of the residents of the capital to prevent the movement of motorcycles in order to avoid security risks and threats ,environmental damage and noise ,the Security committee approved to continue to prevent the movement of all motorcycles in the capital during the period from December 15 to 30, 2013.

The Committee called on all citizens to cooperate with the military and security services for the public interest and in support of the efforts made by these organs to enhance the security situation and provide the appropriate climate for the completion of the national entitlements during this phase.

The Committee confirmed that it will take all deterrent legal procedures against anyone who violates these actions and bring them to justice.

This move was taken by Supreme Security Committee because of the recent incidents represented in exploiting the motorcycles by subversive and terrorist elements to carry out criminal acts and assassinations that targeted many innocent people, from military and security personnel, public figures, national cadres ,citizens and foreigners.
