Almotamar.net - The police have killed in Sana'a two al-Qaeda leaders who were involved in a series of motorbike assassinations of security personnel, the Defense Ministry has reported.

Well-informed sources told the Ministry's website 26sep.net that
Abdul-Khaliq al-Kabsi and Yehya Sanhub were behind a spate of terrorist crimes carried out on motorbikes in Sana'a.

Motorbikes have frequently used in hit-and-run shootings led to killing dozens of military and security officials in recent years.

Consequently, the government enforced last December a temporary ban on motorbikes in the capital Sana'a, which noticeably helped to avert the attacks. The pan is still valid to date.
