Almotamar.net - Yemeni Coast Guard authorities have released a British boat after investigations with its crew revealed it is belonging to a security company and its arrival in the Yemeni regional waters was due to strong winds and high waves.

The Coast Guard police in Aden gulf sector said one of their boats supported by another boat from the Navy Force intercepted an unidentified boat opposite Aden port.

According to the Yemeni Interior Ministry's Security Information Centre it was revealed that the boat that was intercepted is a British and on board of it 6 British men possessing four machineguns and a quantity of ammunition.
Investigations also revealed that the boat belongs to a security company based in Djibouti working in accompanying mercantile ships. The boat started from Djibouti port to opposite to the Yemeni regional waters waiting for a mercantile ship to sail from Aden port to accompany it to the Omani port of Salala but the strong winds ad rough sea drifted the boat to inside the Yemeni regional waters.
