Almotamar.net - Yemen's Interior Undersecretary General Mohammed Abdullah al-Qawsi said Wednesday the elements of al-Houthi sedition have gone too far in their aggression and provocation of the military and security units that committed themselves to decision of the President of the republic on ceasing hostilities against the Houthi elements almost a year before.
The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, who is present in Saada governorate, told almotamar.net that armed forces and security men had faced those provocations and repeated attacks with self-restraint and responsible national spirit concerning stability of ceasefire and in implementation of directives of the President and were not dragged to plots of the Houthi elements that want to ignite fires and wars in Saada.
The security official said," When the President declared the stop of military operations it was not out of inability of the armed forces and security in confronting with the rebellion and terror elements as those astray elements imagined," he affirmed that the ceasefire decision was out of keenness on prevention of Yemeni bloodshed, including blood of the Houthi elements, who are deceived and do not know where the Houthi sedition was leading them.
General Al-Qawsi added that the violations and provocations and targeting the innocent citizens by al-Houthi elements had exceeded all the limits and has become not possible to ignore or keep silent about them.
At the end of his statement to almotamar.net he said the cowardly acts would be encountered with courage and bravery by the armed forces and the security as they were confronted previously in cooperation with the sons of the governorate.
