Almotamar Net - Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in Sana’a Wednesday the British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot on the occasion of the expiry of his term of office in Yemen. During the meeting there was discussion on bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries.

Almotamar.net - Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in Sana’a Wednesday the British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot on the occasion of the expiry of his term of office in Yemen. During the meeting there was discussion on bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries.

President Saleh praised the efforts exerted by the UK ambassador during the term of his office for serving the relations and pushing forward areas of cooperation, pointing out the steady development of the Yemeni-British relations and praised Britain’s stands of supporting Yemen and its security, stability and unity as well as its support for Yemen’s development process and democracy, among them the British efforts within the Yemen Friends Group.

For his part the outgoing British ambassador praised the level of existing relations and cooperation between Yemen and Britain and the development they witness in different areas, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the care and interest he received during the period of his work in Yemen.
